LG G5 global rollout set to begin on March 31


LG today confirmed that its latest flagship smartphone, the G5, will go on sale in major markets around the world starting March 31.

Along with confirming the smartphone’s release date, the South Korean electronics giant also revealed that it will offer freebies with the G5 in most markets. The freebies would include the G5’s “friends”, add-on modules that you will be able to attach to your G5. In some markets the G5 will come with the camera module while others will get a battery pack, both said to be around $100 in value. It also announced that a discount of 38% will be offered on the high-quality Bang & Olufsen audio module at launch.

LG’s first virtual reality headset, the LG 360 VR is also slated to go on sale soon.
