New reports out of Korea shed more light on the specifications of LG’s upcoming ‘not-so-super-premium’ G4 Pro phablet.
The G4 Pro is rumored to arrive with a 5.8-inch 1440 x 2560 Quad HD resolution display with the same Quantum IPS tech that the company uses on the G4. It will also be more powerful than the G4 as it is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 810 as the sources claim it is unlikely that LG will use the Snapdragon 820 chip on the device.
Along with a more powerful chipset, the phablet will also be equipped with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, just like its main rival the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Finally, the report claims the G4 Pro could get a dual camera setup at the back with ‘very impressive’ performance. Seeing how the G4 has been consistently praised by almost all reviewers, we don’t have reasons to doubt that claim.
The phablet is expected to debut sometime this fall, possibly in October.
