The G Flex 2 looks quite similar to its curvy predecessor.
A recent report suggested that LG would announce the G Flex 2 at CES 2015, and now, that report has been confirmed through a leaked poster of the upcoming successor of LG’s first curved smartphone. Spotted at the CES show floor in Las Vegas, LG’s teasers for the device leave no doubt that the G Flex 2 will be officially unveiled at the event.
Unfortunately, there’s still no word on the specs of the G Flex 2, except that it will feature a Snapdragon 810 processor and a display that’s smaller than the G Flex’s. The images indicate the new G Flex will look similar to the original, though it is hard to make out if the device curves at the top and bottom or from the sides – it’s likely the former, as a curve on the sides would leave little screen estate for general usage. The phone is also reported to have a self-healing back, a feature that received some attention on the G Flex when it was launched last year.
LG is set to hold a press conference on Monday, so it’s only a matter of hours before we get every important detail on the G Flex 2.
