The G Pad II 10.1 offers a 10.1-inch WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution display, making it an excellent device for media consumption. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the rather old Snapdragon 800 quad-core chipset and packs a 7,400mAh capacity battery.
For a fatigue-free reading experience, the G Pad II 10.1 comes with a feature dubbed ‘Reader Mode’. This mode reduces the blue light of the display backlight in order to reduce the stress on eyes. A Dual Window mode is present too, allowing users to run two different apps side-by-side. The tablet also comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office for Android tablet and 100GB of free OneDrive cloud storage subscription for a period of two years.
LG G Pad II 10.1 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will be offered in a Brilliant Bronze color option. Detailed availability and pricing info will only be revealed at IFA, but LG did say that the tablet will hit markets in North America, Europe, as well as Asia.
