Lenovo outlined its 2018 vision for technology with a myriad of gadgets which covers a wide range of uses. Amongst them are VR and AR solutions, a smart display, new Moto Mods, and laptop refresh.

Lenovo’s VR: Mirage Solo with Daydream Headset + Mirage Camera

Lenovo aims to create a different VR experience with the use of wireless VR headset and without the need for PC or phones. Lenovo’s Mirage Solo runs on Google’s Daydream VR platform. With WorldSense™ motion-tracking, you can move through space naturally. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 VR, the Mirage Solo delivers immersive experience. Daydream controller is also available to make games control more lifelike.

Lenovo Mirage Camera with Daydream would help you make your own VR content. This pocket-sized camera will help capture 3D photos and videos with its 13MP camera. The result can then be uploaded to your personal Google Photos and YouTube. You can relive them through your Mirage Solo headset as well. The camera features built-in WiFi and a version with LTE modem.

By downloading the app and plugging in Pocket Unit into the phone, the New Glass C220 helps you gather information in your view such as step-by-step instruction instructions and communicating with remote colleagues. It features bone conduction speaker and customisable modules.

Lenovo Smart Display with Google Assistant

Lenovo Smart Display comes with Google Assistant. It is aimed to control your smart home and also to access Google services such as Google Maps and YouTube. It comes in 8” or 10” screen and is powered by Qualcomm Home Hub Platform.

Moto Mods: Vital Moto and Slider Keyboard

Moto Mods ecosystem is getting two new additions: a health sensor and a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

The Vital Moto can measure five vital health signs: heart rate, respiratory rate, Pulse Ox (your oxygen saturation level), core body temperature, and the first accurate systolic and diastolic blood pressure from your finger.

The Livermorium Slider Keyboard gives you full QWERTY keyboard and tilts your moto z screen up to 60º when you need it. The end result will remind you of Nokia N97 (with more screen tilt).
