Lenovo today launched the entry-level Vibe K5 Android handset in the Indian market.
The Vibe K5 was first announced in February this year and is very similar to the K5 Plus in most respects except for the display resolution and the chipset inside. It packs a similar 5.0-inch display but with lower 720 x 1280 HD resolution instead of Full HD. Powering the handset is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 octa-core 64-bit chipset, which is less powerful than the Snapdragon 616 octa-core 64-bit chipset powering the Vibe K5 Plus.
Rest of the specifications are more or less identical. You get 2GB of RAM, 16GB expandable memory, 13MP primary snapper, 5MP selfie camera, 2750mAh battery, full metal build, and support for Dolby Atmos as well as TheaterMax.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is now available in the Indian market exclusively via Amazon for a price of Rs.6,999.
