Lenovo quietly launches the Vibe P1 Turbo with a 5000mAh battery

Vibe P1 Turbo

Lenovo today listed the Vibe P1 Turbo on its Indonesian website, the “Pro” variant of the Vibe P1 it launched in September last year.

The handset was teased a few months back by Lenovo, referred to as the Vibe P1 Pro back then. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD display and runs on the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset. In terms of memory, the smartphone offers 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard expandable storage.

On the imaging front, the Vibe P1 Turbo is similar to most other mid-range smartphones out there. You get a 13MP shooter at the back with a dual-LED flash and a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls. Like a number of other recent mid-range Android smartphones, this one too sports a fingerprint sensor. However, the biggest reason why you should consider the Vibe P1 Turbo is its 5000mAh capacity battery.

The smartphone offers 4G LTE connectivity with dual-SIM support and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is currently available for pre-order only in Indonesia and is being offered in two color options – Platinum and Graphite Grey.
