Lenovo today announced the latest addition to its Vibe X series of smartphones, the Vibe X3.
The Vibe X3 is a smartphone that focusses on delivering the ultimate audio experience on the go. It is equipped with a dedicated ESS Sabre ES9018K2M or Wolfson 8281 DAC, with ‘Hi-Fi’ 3.0. There aren’t too many smartphones on the market with a dedicated DAC, so if you love music and are looking for a new mid-range Android smartphone, the Vibe X3 should definitely be on your list. The smartphone is also equipped with twin front-firing stereo speakers, so sharing music with your friends will be a much more enjoyable experience as well.
The rest of the specs are pretty impressive too. It comes with a 5.5-inch display featuring 1080 x 1920 Full HD resolution, Snapdragon 808 or MediaTek octa-core chipset, 16/32/64GB internal memory options, 2/3GB RAM, 21MP Sony camera sensor with phase-detection autofocus, dual-tone dual-LED flash, 5/8MP front-facing camera (depending on the variant), 3400/3600mAh capacity battery, back mounted fingerprint scanner, and a premium metal body.
The Vibe X3 will go on sale starting November 25th in China and has been priced at $300 for the 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage variant. The 3GB/32GB variant costs $400, while the highest end 3/64GB variant is priced at $470.
