As multiple rumors have suggested in the recent past, LG G5 is going to bring a significant overhaul in design as well as build. A leaked schematic has now surfaced online, courtesy of Android Authority, revealing the handset’s alleged dimensions and quite a few design highlights.
According to the report, the upcoming LG flagship will measure 149.4 x 73.9 x 8.2mm, which means the G5 is going to be taller and thinner than the G4 but will be less wide, which would make it slightly more comfortable to hold than its predecessor.
Coming to the design now, the most significant difference is the positioning of the volume buttons on the side of the smartphone instead of at the back on the G4. The power button though, remains positioned at the back. The back of the handset will also sport a fingerprint scanner, positioned right below the rear camera lens. As for the build, no new details have been revealed in the latest report, but based on previous rumors, it is likely the G5 will employ a full-metal unibody build.
