Leaked images show the mini version of ZTE’s flagship Nubia Z5 in action, hints at a MIUI inspired interface.
After launching the Nubia Z5 flagship Smartphone, rumors began flying that ZTE is also working on a mini version of their flagship. Unlike other mini versions with 4.3-inch displays, the Nubia Z5 Mini is actually quite big, with a 4.7-inch HD display in tow. That’s 2012 flagship specifications in a ‘mini’ categorized phone, guess we aren’t too far off from when 5-inch phones will be considered small (mini).

The Nubia Z5 Mini will be one of those many new Smartphones which pack unconventionally powerful front cameras, a 5 MP module in this one, self-shot lovers rejoice. The rear camera is an 8 MP unit which we’re pretty sure will be capable of shooting 1080p video. ZTE’s upcoming phone has nothing mini about it, dimensionally being almost equivalent to a Galaxy S4. Thickness and weight of the phone are a tad on the high side, we’re hoping that this bump is being used to pack a powerful battery (if not, then bummer).
The ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini is expected to hit markets in July with a yet-to-be-revealed price tag. Of course, the device will end up cheaper than the flagship Zubia Z5. Stay tuned for more coverage.
