Indian phone maker Lava will reportedly introduce an updated model of the current Xolo Q1000 model. The new model will be named the Q1000S and will feature a faster, 1.5 GHz quad-core CPU.
Indian phone maker Lava has been making lots of splashes in recent times. After the Xolo T1000 Tegra 3 Smartphones comes the new Xolo Q1000S, an updated version of the existing quad-core Xolo Q1000 Smartphone. The new Q1000S model will also be a part of the Q-Core series, and will come with more than just an updated CPU and a reused name.
The Lava Xolo Q1000S will reportedly pack a 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6589T SoC, 5-inch 720p HD display, a 13 MP rear camera, a big 5 MP camera (something that is trending these days), and will be just 6.8mm thick (these new slim phones are really taking off aren’t they?) which simply puts the Galaxy S4 or Xperia Z to shame. The Xolo Q1000S will run on Android Jelly Bean, most likely to be version 4.2.1.
