Latest leak reveals Moto 360 sequel price and release date

The Moto 360 sequel has been listed on a Swedish retailer website, revealing local pricing and availability info.

According to the retailer, the 46.5mm Moto 360 2nd Gen with cognac leather band will be priced at SEK 3,800 ($460) in Sweden while the smaller version with dark or light stainless steel strap will cost SEK 2,900 ($350). Don’t be alarmed though, these prices are only for the Swedish market. Prices in other major markets such as the US will be much lower.

More importantly, the retailer page claims that the Moto 360 2nd Gen will begin shipping on September 8th in Sweden, which means Motorola could announce the smartwatch in the first week of September. An IFA announcement seems likely, but Motorola could also hold a dedicated event elsewhere to announce the Moto 360 sequel and perhaps a few other devices.
