Kingston outs 512GB Class 10 UHS-I SDXC memory card

Kingston today announced the launch of a 512GB Class 10 UHS-I SDXC card to its lineup. The high-capacity card is aimed at owners of DSLR cameras and HD camcorders who need high storage space and speedy performance.

Apart from boasting of high storage capacity, the new 512GB card offers very impressive file transfer speeds as well. Kingston claims the card is capable of maximum read speeds up to 90MB/s and maximum write speeds up to 45MB/s. The high file transfer speeds makes the card ideal for continuous and burst mode photography. It will also help reduce stutter when recording videos in high-definition.

The card supports shooting videos in full 1080p as well as 3D. Apart from the new 512GB storage capacity, Transcend also offers Class 10 UHS-I cards in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB capacities.
