KEF has launched the KEF Kube 8b, 10b and 12b subwoofers, named for their respective driver sizes of 8, 10 and 12 inches. Elegant, small and fully sealed, each unit offers a compact solution to your home audiophile needs. The KEF Kube range also promises to be versatile, adaptable, and fully able to punch (bass) far above its deceivingly compact form factor.

Aside from being driven by a 300-watt Class D amplifier, each model allows you to customise your listening experience freely, with phase selection, and 3 DSP controlled EQ settings free for you to adjust based on the position of your Kube. Connectivity isn’t an issue with its Low-Frequency Effects (LFE), line and speaker-level inputs. SmartConnect on board each Kube automatically detects mono or stereo sub configurations and adjusts volume levels accordingly.

KEF has also developed a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithm, also known as iBX. This Intelligent Bass Extension algorithm analyses the input signal and aims to maximise the subs’ drivers so that they can ‘play louder and remain dynamic at any listening level’

The KEF Kube 8b, 10b and 12b will retail at SGD799, SGD999 and SGD1,099 respectively. KEF’s new subwoofer range can be found at the KEF Singapore store at The Adelphi (1 Coleman Street #01-18 The Adelphi Singapore 179803).
