iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus could go up for pre-order on September 9th

iPhone 7 event

Mobile phone leakster Evan Blass has “confirmed” that the new iPhone 7 models will be available for pre-order starting September 9th.

If the data is indeed accurate, Apple could hold the iPhone keynote event on September 6th this year. Wider availability is slated for September 16, according to the leakster.

There is still a lot of confusion regarding this year’s iPhone lineup, with some leaks hinting at three new iPhone 7 models while some other sources claim there will only be two models released this year. The third rumored iPhone is the iPhone 7 Pro, which is expected to sport a 5.5” display and a dual-camera setup at the back. The regular iPhone 7 Plus is expected to feature a single iSight camera at the back.

The new iPhones this year are rumored to pack a more powerful Apple A10 chipset, a cleaner design at the back, faster connectivity features, larger batteries, and 32GB of base storage.
