A new video showing the front panel of the iPhone 6s has been posted online by EverythingApplesPro.
The video compares a Space Gray iPhone 6s unit to the iPhone 6, and as you would expect, there aren’t really too many visible changes on the outside. The only major difference between the two iPhones is the larger FaceTime front-facing camera on the upcoming iPhone 6s. This is to be expected as the iPhone 6s is rumored to be equipped with a significantly higher resolution 5MP unit. The new upgraded Touch ID hardware can be seen as well.
The video also shows off the Force Touch components on the iPhone 6s for the first time. Unlike the Apple Watch and the MacBooks, Force Touch on iPhones will reportedly be marketed with a different name. Instead of providing an additional menu overlay, it will be used to provide ‘shortcuts’ to users to perform various tasks in iOS 9.
So while you wait for the Apple iPhone 6s event on September 9th, check out the video below to take a look at the various components of the device.
