Ahead of the flagship smartphone’s official unveiling next month, Huawei today released the very first official teaser for the device.
The official teaser for the upcoming flagship confirms the presence of a dual camera setup at the back, similar to the one on the LG G5. The P9 will not be the first Huawei smartphone to feature a dual camera setup though, as the Honor 6 Plus from 2014 holds that distinction.
A few hours before Huawei released the official teaser for the P9, online retailer Oppomart listed the P9 on its website, revealing quite a few details regarding the smartphone. According to the retailer, the Huawei P9 will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display and is going to pack the Hisilicon Kirin 950 octa-core chipset under the hood. At the back, the smartphone will feature a 12MP dual OIS rear camera with laser auto focus. Rest of the leaked specifications include 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, global 4G FDD-LTE network support, 5MP selfie camera, and a 3000mAh capacity battery.
Along with the P9, Oppomart has also listed two other variants of the P9 – P9 Max and the P9 Lite.
