Huawei P6-U06 leaked, to take world’s slimmest crown

Fresh reports suggest that Huawei is working on a new ultra slim smartphone. Powered by Android the Huawei P6-U06 will have an insanely thin 6.18 mm body, bagging the crown for the slimmest smartphone ever.

It seems that the race to making slimmest smartphones didn't end when phones like the Galaxy S4 hit under 8 mm thickness. Granted there are many phones that pack all their meat into a slim 7 mm profile but smartphone manufacturers don't look like they've stopped there, or at least Huawei hasn't. Leaked images of the upcoming Huawei P6-U06 shows of an insanely thin 6.18 mm thickness (the word thick feels out of place here) bearing body, making it nearly a full millimeter slimmer than the Motorola Droid RAZR. Packing all of the powerful hardware into such a slim body does require some great craftsmanship and design engineering, although sacrifices have to be made and we fully expect the Huawei P6-U06 to pack a sub-par battery (surprise us Huawei).

Huawei P6-U06 Specifications:

  • 1.5 GHz Quad Core Processor
  • 4.7 Inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Display
  • 2 GB Of RAM
  • 5 or 8 MP Rear Camera
  • Front Camera
  • 32 GB Of Internal Storage
  • Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean

Despite the slim profile, Huawei does manage to sqeeze in powerful hardware into their upcoming phone. Again, there are no details on the battery rating. As of now there are no further details of the pricing and launch of this handset.
