After several weeks of teases and leaks, the Huawei Nova 4 has been announced. Featuring its iconic ‘hole-punch’ cutout in the display to accommodate its single 25-megapixel front-facing camera, the Nova 4’s iconic design has been seen on the Samsung Galaxy A8s earlier last week, and on Huawei sub-brand Honor on the View 20 also.
The Huawei Nova 4 will sport the previous generation Kirin 970 processor found on the Huawei P20 Pro, where the Kirin 980 has made its debut on the Huawei Mate 20 devices.
The Huawei Nova 4 will sport a 6.4-inch 2310 x 1080 display, and have 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. Security is provided by a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and it will charge via USB-C with 18W fast charging with a total battery capacity of 3,750mAh.
The Nova 4 will retail at RMB 3,399 (SGD 678), with a lower-priced model at RMB 3,099 (SGD 616) which swaps the 48-megapixel camera with a 20-megapixel one.
