You might know Huawei for its line of smartphones with astounding camera performance, but the company is responsible for the MateBook family of ultrabook laptops that pack power in an ultra-slim form-factor.
The company will be introducing two new laptops here in Singapore: the Huawei MateBook 13, and the MateBook X Pro.
The 13-inch MateBook 13, introduced at CES this year, sports a 2K display with a high contrast ratio at 1000:1, with slim bezels that give for a screen-to-body ratio of 88%.
Within, users have a choice of eighth-generation Intel Core i5/i7 processors. The MateBook 13 will launch on May 30 at SGD 1,348 in the 256GB configuration, and at SGD 1,498 for the 512GB option.
At 14 inches, the MateBook X Pro will be available at a later date. It tops the MateBook 13 with a 91% screen-to-body ratio, and with a 3K resolution. It will have a similar choice of eighth generation Intel Core i5/i7 innards, and will sport a 57.4Wh battery that can deliver up to 12 hours of battery life.
Pricing for the MateBook X Pro will be announced at a later date.
