Huawei seems to be on a roll lately, launching one new smartphone after another. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer today revealed its plans of launching a device named “Maimang 5” on July 14.
The smartphone will reportedly be a more compact version of the Mate 8 phablet that it launched last year. However, in terms of specs, the upcoming smartphone isn’t exactly going to be “flagship grade”. It is rumored to be powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 or the 652 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. It is also expected to include 64GB of internal storage and a 16MP primary camera with optical image stabilization and 4K video capture support.
Reports out China suggest the “Maimang 5” is going to be priced at 2000 Yuan ($300).
