The upcoming Honor V8 has been certified by TENAA in China, revealing its key specifications such as the display size and the camera setup.
According to the TENAA listing, the Honor V8 will feature a 5.7-inch 1080p display, with a 2.3GHz octa-core chipset powering the smartphone. Like the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus, the Honor V8 too is listed to include 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The battery on the other hand is bigger than the one on the P9, rated at 3,400mAh.
As hinted by previous rumors, the Honor V8 will come with a similar 12MP dual rear cameras as the P9 and the P9 Plus, although it is possible that it won’t feature a Leica lens. The selfie camera is an 8MP unit.
A more expensive variant of the Honor V8 has been spotted on the TENAA website as well, with superior specs. The KNT-AL20 features a 5.7-inch Quad HD resolution display, 64GB internal memory, and a higher-clocked 2.5GHz octa-core chipset. All variants of the phone run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
