It looks like Huawei really wants to push dual cameras on its smartphones. After its flagship P9, the company will be launching yet another high-end device with dual cameras, the Honor V8.
The Honor V8 will be the second Honor-branded smartphone to come with a dual camera setup at the back. Huawei had launched its first dual camera smartphone in 2014, the Honor 6 Plus.
While no confirmed details are available yet, Chinese media is speculating that the device could utilize the same dual 12MP camera setup seen on the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus. However, unlike those two devices, the V8 is rumored to do away with the Leica lens.
As far as core specs go, the Honor V8 is expected to be quite impressive and could be very similar to the flagship P9 in many ways. Rumored specifications include a Kirin 950 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and a fingerprint scanner.
