Huawei has announced that it will debut a new smartphone next week, dubbed the G9.
The Huawei G9 is reportedly going to be similar to the P9 in many areas but is going to be launched at a more affordable price point. It will include a similar 5.2-inch display with 1080p resolution and the Kirin 650 octa-core chipset that we have so far seen on the Huawei P9 Lite and the Huawei Honor 5C.
Other specifications revealed in the G9’s TENAA listing include 3GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, and a 2900mAh capacity battery. The images of the handset published by TENAA show a polycarbonate build with a fingerprint scanner mounted at the back.
The Huawei G9 is expected to be priced at 1988 Yuan in China ($307) and will be available in three color options – White, Gold, and Black.
