Huawei could debut a Kirin 650-powered Honor 5C next week

Honor 5C teaser

Huawei will reportedly launch the successor to the Honor 4C next week, powered by the Kirin 650 chipset.

The Honor 5C could take on the Redmi Note 3 from Xiaomi that has received a very positive response from consumers. As suggested by the branding, the Honor 5C will be a cheaper alternative to the Honor 5X that the manufacturer launched last year.

A leaked flier doing the rounds on in China suggests the smartphone could be launched next week on the 13th, although some reports claim the smartphone will instead be launched on the 28th of this month.

No specifications have been revealed so far, except that the smartphone will support LTE Cat.6 networks. However, we do expect more details to surface soon, as we head closer to the smartphone’s rumored announcement date.
