HTC recently revealed its plans to counter the low sales of its flagship One M9 by releasing a new ‘hero’ device later this year. A report published by a Vietnamese website today reveals a few key details about the device’s display.
According to the new report, the HTC ‘Aero’ will include a Quad HD 1440 x 2560 display with 2.5D glass and Gorilla Glass 4 protection on top. The same source had earlier revealed that the device’s camera will offer RAW shooting capability and be equipped with an f/1.9 aperture lens.
The exact size of the display hasn’t been revealed, but it may be the same 5.2” size as the One M9+ or 5.5” as the One E9+.
HTC is expected to launch the ‘Aero’ in October this year, as an intermediate device between the One M9 and the company’s next flagship smartphone for 2016.
