According to a fishy new leak out of China, HTC is working on a flagship grade smartphone dubbed the One X9 with some very impressive specs.
The device allegedly carries the model number E56 and is said to be priced at 2999 Yuan in China when it launches, which converts to about $470. The One X9 is rumored to feature a Quad HD display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64/128GB internal storage options, 23MP rear camera, 4MP front-facing camera, 3500mAh capacity battery, and HTC’s signature BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers.
As you can see in the leaked image, the One X9 appears to have a design quite different from the recently released One A9 and other HTC One series flagships. Of course, we cannot be sure if this is indeed the real deal or just a fake render.
In case the One X9 is real, we may expect to hear more about it soon as the report claims the device could be released as soon as January next year.
