HTC’s first smartwatch may finally be unveiled early next year, claims trusted leakster @Evleaks.
In a tweet published earlier today, Evan Blass claimed the “One” branded smartwatch will launch in February next year, which suggests a possible Mobile World Congress 2016 unveiling.
HTC fans, you'll finally have One watch to call your own come February.

As for the smartwatch itself, it is rumored to run Android Wear and is allegedly codenamed “Halfbeak”. No detailed specs have been rumored yet, but we do know that it will sport a circular design and sport a 360 x 360 resolution display. We should also keep in mind that the company has been rumored to launch a smartwatch quite a few times in the past as well, but none of that actually materialized. One of the early HTC smartwatch prototypes, codenamed Petra had been cancelled as the company didn’t think it was going to be a great idea to venture into the smartwatch market, given its financial troubles.
