HTC Desire 628 goes official in Vietnam

HTC Desire 628

Well, it didn’t take long – it was just a few hours ago the HTC Desire 628 was leaked, and the device has now been listed on the company’s Vietnamese website. The Desire 628 is yet another sign that HTC has no qualms launching as many new smartphones as it can, with specs that won’t impress anyone in this day and age.

As the leak had revealed, the Desire 628 features a 5-inch HD display, 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. There’s also 32GB of internal storage, stereo BoomSound speakers, 4G LTE connectivity, dual SIM slots, and a 2,200 mAh battery. If the specs don’t excite someone, neither will the software, as the Desire 628 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop instead of Android Marshmallow.

The Desire 628 comes in two funky color schemes – purple and white, and orange and black. There is no word on the pricing or availability, but more details should make their way online in due course of time.
