HP’s new Spectre is as thin as an AAA-battery

HP introduced the world’s thinnest laptop at the New York Times International Luxury Conference, the new Spectre.

The CNC machined aluminum chassis of the new HP Spectre is just 10.4mm thin, making it as thin as an AAA-battery. However, despite the super thin profile, the HP Spectre doesn’t skimp on power. The notebook features a 13.3” Full HD edge-to-edge display, Intel Core i-series processors, and Bang & Olufsen audio.

In terms of storage, the new Spectre is offered with PCIe SSD storage up to 512GB, delivering blazing fast speeds. As for memory, the notebook can be configured with up to a maximum of 8GB RAM. Highlights in the connectivity department include no less than three USB Type-C connectors, two of which support Thunderbolt.

The HP Spectre will be available on HP.com and BBY.com on the 25th of this month with a starting price of $1,169.99. Best Buy will start offering the notebook on May 22 for a starting price of $1,249.99.
