Well known leakster @evleaks today revealed in a tweet that HP’s first Windows 10 Mobile-powered smartphone will be named the HP Elite x3. The smartphone has been the subject of multiple leaks already, referred to by its “Falcon” codename.
The HP Elite x3 is likely to be an enterprise-oriented smartphone and could be the first Windows 10 Mobile smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 820 flagship mobile SoC. It will also feature a large 5.8-inch Quad HD resolution display, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, 20MP rear camera, and a 12MP selfie camera.
According to a report published in December last year, the smartphone could be announced at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona. If that is indeed going to be the case, we may get to know a lot more about the HP Elite x3 in less than two weeks from now.
