HP has updated its Elitebook 705 G4 series of premium notebooks with the latest 7th Generation AMD PRO APUs.
The HP Elitebook 705 G4 comprises of three models – 12.5” 725 G4, 14” 745 G4, and the 15.6” 755 G4. All three models can be configured with the following 7th Gen AMD PRO APUs:
- AMD PRO A12-9800B APU
- AMD PRO A12-8830B APU
- AMD PRO A10-8730B APU
- AMD PRO A8-9600B APU
The three models come with up to 16GB of RAM and up to a 1TB SATA hard disk drive and up to 512GB of PCIe NVMe storage. In terms of display resolution, all three models can be customized with either 1366 x 768 or 1920 x 1280 resolution displays. Additionally, the 14” model gets an optional 2560 x 1440 panel as well.
Connectivity options include two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.0 Type-C port with upt to 5 Gb/s data rate, an SD card reader, headphone/mic jack, VGA, and a DisplayPort. By default, the series comes with Realtek Wireless N networking module, but you can upgrade to Intel dual-band wireless AC modules as well as 4G Mobile Broadband.
The enterprise-oriented HP Elitebook 705 G4 series will be going on sale starting next month for a starting price of $769 in the US. No word on pricing or availability info for markets outside US just yet.
