HP Announces New Spectre x360 and Folio Range, Tango Printer

Created with an emphasis on design and aesthetics, HP has announced its 2019 lineup of Spectre x360 and Folio devices, along with a new Tango Printer.

HP Spectre Folio

The Spectre Folio brings a thin and light design with the implementation of one of the smallest motherboards in the industry, which enable the use of 8th Gen Intel Core i5 and i7 Y-series processors, with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.

Ideal for outdoor, everyday use, the HP Spectre Folio has a 300-nit FHD display, along with an option to boost it for a 1W, 400-nit option for better usability in direct sunlight. It also has a battery life of up to 21h 15mins.

Despite its fanless design, it manages thermals effectively, and its leather elements provide a cool and comfortable usage experience on the lap. As the world’s first leather convertible PC, the handcrafted full-grain leather on the HP Spectre Folio is exquisitely stitched, forming a natural joint for laptop, tablet and tent positions.

Audio is no compromise with the four front-firing speakers that are tuned by Bang & Olufsen, ensuring that a great experience can be had no matter the position.

The HP Spectre Folio starts at SGD 2,299 and is available at present. A version in Bordeaux Burgundy is slated for availability in Early February.

HP Spectre 13 x360, HP Spectre 15 x360

Continuing on its trend of superb design, the HP Spectre x360 laptops focus don delivering security and performance while not compromising on aesthetics.

The smaller 13-inch model is targetted at mobile users, while the 15-inch model is equipped to handle the high demands of content creators.

The 13-inch device is powered with the latest quad-core 8th Gen Intel Core Processors, and provides an impressive battery life of 22.5hours. It can be equipped with the optional HP Sure View, which protects privacy by limiting viewing angles – especially useful in public areas.

The more powerful Spectre 15 x360 laptop sports a more powerful six-core 8th Gen Intel Core processors, with discrete Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti MaxQ graphics.

With a 4K UHD touch-sensitive display, the Spectre 15 can even support to up to two external 5K displays with its Thunderbolt USB-C ports.

With privacy in mind, both laptops come with a privacy camera kill switch to electrically turn off the webcam when not in use.

The HP Spectre 13 x360 and HP Spectre 15 x360 retail at a starting price of SGD 2,399.

HP Tango Home Printer

Without the need for any troublesome printer cables or drivers, the Tango supports remote app-based printing remotely, while also notifying users on ink and paper levels, on print job progress, and if the cover is closed.

Users can also seamlessly order more ink via the app, or even use voice commands to activate the printer.

The HP Tango X version adds a soft felt cover that adds to the printer aesthetically, while doubling up as a paper landing zone.

The HP Tango starts at SGD 219, while the HP Tango X adds a felt cover with a starting price of SGD 289.
