Adobe has announced Photoshop Camera for Android and iOS, available as a preview with planned availability in 2020. It utilises the power of the Adobe Sensei artificial intelligence platform to produce surreal, magical images, with the option for filters, lenses and composite effects.
By putting the power of photoshop and the ease provided by AI on the platform, users can view effects in real time without any need for technical knowledge. Photoshop Camera joins Photoshop Express for a wider range of options for accessible on-the-go creativity, bringing the magic of Photoshop to the masses.
Amongst its features is a library of “lenses”, including a series inspired by chart-topping musician Billie Eilish.
With Sensei AI on board, Adobe Photoshop Camera is designed to work across a wide range of photographic applications, including portraits, selfies, landscape and food. It works to preserve and optimise key photographic elements such as dynamic range and tonality while recognising and prioritising faces.
Interested users can sign up for Adobe Photoshop Camera here. Preview apps installs are limited and are subject to screening based on questionnaire responses.
