Google is no longer selling the Nexus 6

The 6-inch Nexus is still available through third-party retailers.

Around two months after launching the Huawei Nexus 6P and LG Nexus 5, Google has stopped selling the Nexus 6 on the Play Store. The Nexus 6 never found the success of its predecessors, mainly due to Google’s move to a giant 6-inch display and a high price unlike what consumers had gotten used to with Nexus phones (and tablets). The internet giant had itself admitted that the Nexus 6 hadn’t done well earlier this year.

Of course, even though Google won’t be stocking the Nexus 6 anymore, the device is still available from third-party retailers like Amazon and eBay for prices as low as $350. Motorola also has the Nexus 6 up for sale on its official website in the US, though it’s asking for $499, a price most won’t be willing to pay for the device even if they were willing to adjust with a screen size that even phablet lovers usually steer clear of.
