Gold iPhone 5S and iPad 5 concept renderings stir up imagination

Over the past few weeks we have consistently heard rumors that Apple is going to offer iPhone 5S in gold color. While nothing has said about a similar option for iPad 5, an artist has created concept renderings of both devices in the aforementioned color.

The rumors about gold iPhone 5S came out of the blue a couple of weeks ago. Initially a purported iPhone 5S casing in gold was also leaked, but it is now believed that it was a fake. Various sources claim that the gold color won’t exactly be too tacky, instead it would be much more subtle, and is actually going to be a lot like champagne. Demand is cited for this color option in certain markets such as China and India, it remains to be seen if this offering would be region specific.

Apart from unveiling the iPhone 5S next month, Apple is also rumored to be working on the next generation iPad, a.k.a iPad 5. Up till now there haven’t been any rumors about Apple offering its next tablet in gold color as well. It isn’t impossible to imagine that the company might not bring the same color option to its next generation tablet, which will be receiving a new design after almost three years.

These renders have been created by Martin Hajek. These images have been created based on the rumors that have been going around regarding the gold iPhone 5S. While there’s no surety that the final product may look like what you see here, these images do spark up our imagination about a color option that Apple has never before offered for any of its devices.
