God of War III Remastered for PlayStation 4 launches on July 14th


Some great news for fans of Santa Monica Studio’s hugely popular God of War III. The Remastered version of the game for PlayStation 4 will be coming out on July 14th. Cory Barlog from Santa Monica Studio broke the news about the exact launch date on the PlayStation blog.

The game first launched in March 2010 on the PlayStation 3 platform. It received a great response from the PlayStation gamer community and has become the most popular game in the God of War series with over 5 million copies sold.

For the PlayStation 4, the Remastered version will offer 1080p resolution with a targeted 60 frames per second. Along with the higher resolution, the updated game will also bring a number of other additions such as the new Photo Mode that will give you various creative camera and lighting options and freeze to share photos of all your exploits. You will also have the option to edit these photo with the help of various filters.
