Gigabyte has introduced a new premium motherboard based on the Intel Z270 Express chipset, dubbed Z270X-Designare. As is quite clear from its name, the motherboard offers a unique design that will definitely appeal to enthusiasts or anyone out there looking to buy a new high-end motherboard that not only delivers excellent performance but also looks quite unlike anything else on the market currently.
The Z270X-Designare supports the latest 7th Generation ‘Kaby Lake’ Intel Core processors as well as the 6th Generation ‘Skylake’ Core processors. The ATX form-factor board includes four DDR4 DIMM slots, with XMP profile support of up 3866 MHz and beyond. It also features 1 PCI Express x16 slot running at x16, 1 PCI Express x16 slot running at x8, 1 PCI Express x16 slot running at x4, and 3 PCI Express x1 slots.
In terms of lighting, the motherboard offers RGB Fusion illumination with 16.8 million colors, 2 programmable section, and 7 different lighting effects. If you want more, you can add additional light strips with the RGBW Light Strip pin header on the motherboard. All the lighting options can be controlled using Gigabyte’s RGB Fusion app, which is available both on the App Store as well as Google Play.
