GIGABYTE R9 380X G1 Gaming

GIGABYTE today released its Radeon R9 380X card, the GV-R938XG1 Gaming-4GD.

The graphics card features a total of 2048 stream processors and 4GB of GDDR5 memory on a 256-bit memory interface. The memory is clocked at 5700 MHz while the core has been clocked 980 MHz. It utilizes GIGABYTE’s popular WindForce 2X cooling solution with dual 90mm fans.

Display connectors offered include a single DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI, and a DisplayPort. The DirectX12 compatible card draws power through a single 8 pin connector. It measures 41 x 221 x 114mm, so it should be able to fit easily in almost all PC cases without any problem.

GIGABYTE has priced the card at $265, slightly higher than the $229 pricing of the reference card. However, that’s only the MSRP, quite a few retailers are selling it for around the same price as the reference card.
