GIGABYTE has unveiled its new Z170N-Gaming 5 motherboard for the latest 6th Gen Intel Core processor family.
The G1 branded motherboard comes in the mini-ITX form-factor and supports LGA1151 socket processors, with support for dual-channel DDR4 memory. The board features a combination of 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS power connectors and boasts of a 5-phase VRM power design.
For connecting your storage devices, you get an M.2 slot with 32 Gb/s bandwidth, two SATA-Express 16 Gb/s ports, and 6 SATA 6 Gb/s ports. It comes with a single expansion slot, a PCI-Express 3.0 x16. For connecting various devices, the motherboard offers two USB 3.1 ports, five USB 3.0 ports, and four USB 2.0/1.1 ports.
Networking features include a gigabit Ethernet Killer E2200 controller, 802.11ac WLAN, and Bluetooth 4.2 support. Onboard audio is handled by a 115 dBA SNR CODEC with audio-grade electrolytic capacitors. A dedicated headphone amp is included as well.
The GIGABYTE Z170N-Gaming 5 is expected to be priced upwards of $150.
