GIGABYTE announces its first custom GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card

GIGABYTE today announced its very first custom GeForce GTX 1060 card, the GeForce GTX 1060 G1 GAMING.

The card incorporates GIGABYTE’s WINDFORCE 2X cooling solution with dual 90mm alternate-spinning fans and 2 composite copper heat pipes with direct touch to the GPU, helping the card stay cool even when overclocked for extreme performance. The 3D Active fan turns off completely when the card is running at low load or idle. The fan status is displayed on a LED fan indicator.

Along with orange accents, the GeForce GTX 1060 G1 GAMING comes with full-spectrum RGB lighting which can be customized using the XTREME Engine utility software. Designed for overclocking, the card features a 6+1 phase power design that helps keep the MOSFET working at a lower temperature to provide stable voltage output for superior overclocking. To easily overclock the card, buyers can use the XTREME Engine utility with one-click overclocking. Some of the other key highlights include a metal back plate, highest-grade chokes and capacitors, and a smart power LED indicator.
