Catering to the enthusiast segment, Gainward today announced its new GeForce GTX 980 Ti Phoenix “Golden Sample” graphics card.
The factory overclocked graphics card comes with a 1152 MHz base clock and 1241 MHz boost clock. Memory clock is rated at 3,500 MHz. Featuring a triple-fan cooling solution and low thermal restitance, Gainward GTX 980 Ti Phoenix GS card is claimed to offer up to 11% higher performance compared to the reference GTX 980 Ti.
The card features Gainward’s ‘Zero RPM fan design’ that allows all three fans to remain idle until the GPU temperatures hit 60 degrees Celsius or higher. When the card is not being used for heavy workloads, you can expect zero noise from the fans.
To allow users to tweak fan speeds and access the BIOS saving feature, the card supports the Expertool II software utility. You can use it to change the fan curve or save BIOS data.
