G.SKILL unveils new RIPJAWS Cherry RGB/MX mechanical keyboards for gaming

Cherry RGB/MX

G.SKILL has announced the availability of its new RIPJAWS series KM780 RGB and KM780 MX mechanical gaming keyboards with Cherry key switches.

Built using genuine Cherry RGB/MX key switches, the keyboards are claimed to provide 50 million keystroke durability in red, brown, and blue. The key switches are mounted directly through a solid 2mm aluminum top plate, allowing each key to be effectively locked down to deliver a convincing typing experience.

The keycaps are dual-coat laser etched and allow you to customize your most common gaming keys. An attachable keycap is included with the keyboard to keep your keycaps and custom keycap tool in one place.

Some of the other highlights include backlit media control buttons, die-cast volume roller, integrated digital LED volume display, on-the-fly macro recording, 6 additional macro keys, 3 hotkeys, and easy-access mode selection keys.

Both the RIPJAWS KM780 RGB and KM780 MX gaming keyboard will be available starting late September worldwide. In the US, the two keyboards are on sale on Newegg.com and are priced at $159.99 and $119.99, respectively.
