G.SKILL has come up with a new mechanical keyboard designed for gaming, dubbed RIPJAWS KM560 MX. As you probably would have figured out from the image above, it is a tenkeyless keyboard. Compared to full-size keyboards, tenkeyless keyboards are more compact, thus helping free up space on your desk for your mouse and other accessories.
The RIPJAWS KM560 MX keyboard uses Cherry MX Red keyswitches with a 2mm actuation distance and a rated lifespan of 50 million keystrokes. G.SKILL will also be offering the keyboard with Cherry MX Brown and Blue keyswitches. The keys do feature LED backlighting, although you don’t get fancy RGB LEDs. Instead, the KM560 MX only includes red LED backlighting with a few lighting effects and customizable brightness. All of these can be controlled directly from the keyboard, using combination hotkeys. Another feature Apart from the LED backlighting, the keyboard includes pretty much all other features that one would expect from a gaming keyboard. These include full n-key rollover, 100% anti-ghosting, quick function hotkeys, and macro support with On-the-fly macro recording.
The G.SKILL RIPJAWS KM560 MX is currently available only in the Asia region. In Europe and Americas, the keyboard will be available sometime in the fourth quarter of the year. Pricing info has sadly not been shared by the company yet.
