Extreme performance memory and SSD maker G.SKILL has announced that it will be hosting two major overclocking events at Computex this year – OC World Cup 2015 and the OC World Record Stage 2015.
The two events will see participation from 19 world-class overclockers, 5 motherboard vendors, and 3 hardware sponsors – Intel, Samsung, and Kingpin Cooling. Both the events will kick off on June 2nd, the same day the Computex 2015 event kicks off.
OC World Cup 2015 live qualifier will be held from June 2nd to June 4th, with the grand final scheduled for June 5th. The event will see six overclockers – dRweEz, Dancop, Hazzan, Xtreme Addict, Vivi, and [email protected], battle it out for the $10,000 cash prize.
The OC World Record stage 2015 has been scheduled from June 2nd till June 6th. This event will leading motherboard brands such as ASRock, ASUS, EVGA, Gigabyte, and MSI being represented by 14 professional overclockers who will be breaking benchmark world records live on stage with an Intel Core i7-5960X CPU, G.SKILL memory, and X99 motherboards.
