Shamino has once again established a new frequency record for DDR4 memory from G.SKILL, beating no one save himself. The feat was performed using ASUS’s RAMPAGE V EXTREME mainboard, assisted by liquid-nitrogen cooling.
The good news of course, is the demonstration of the potential frequency gains achievable through the use of G.SKILL kit on the ASUS mainboard. The bad news? We have yet to see with regularity, >4200MHz frequencies from other DDR4 memory and board makers.
