G.SKILL has announced new high-frequency, high-capacity additions to its Ripjaws SO-DIMM family today.
The company now offers DDR4-3000MHz CL16 kits at 1.2V, available in 8GB to 32GB (16GBx2) configurations. In the future, G.SKILL plans to continue bringing out higher speed DDR4 SO-DIMM memory for premium gaming notebooks as well as SFF (small form-factor) PCs.
Thanks to the low voltage of just 1.2V, the new DDR4-3000MHz kit from G.SKILL is ideal for gaming notebooks and compact PCs due to their smaller thermal footprint. Most other DDR4-3000MHz kits available on the market require 1.35V power, so G.SKILL definitely has the edge with the new kit. The latest kit supports the latest XMP 2.0 standard and has been designed for the latest 6th Generation ‘Skylake’ Intel Core processors.
G.SKILL will begin selling the Ripjaws DDR4-3000MHz SO-DIMM kits starting this month.
