FSP releases new 700W Twins series redundant power supply

Performance power specialist FSP has announced its latest Twins series power supply, the new FSP700-70RGHBE1.

The new 700W server-grade power supply includes two highly reliable 700W power supplies, with a combined power density of 22.4W/in3 (watt per cubic inch). That’s the highest among all standard PS2 redundant form factor power supplies on the market currently.

Both the fully redundant, modular power supplies are 80 Plus Gold certified for efficiency and do require any specialized bracket for installation. FSP claims that it is in fact the first PS2 redundant PSU in the market to fit almost 80% of ATX chassis on the market without a special bracket. It is compatible with desktop ATX 12V as well as server EPS12V standards, making it suitable for both industrial PCs and rackmount server chassis 3U and above.

The FSP700-70RGHBE1 comes with a dual ball-bearing fan, premium capacitors, over current protection, short circuit protection, over voltage protection, and fan failure protection. It has a MTBF of 100,000 hours and is backed by a 3-year warranty.
