FSP 80 PLUS Titanium PSU Announced

FSP has announced a mainstream power supply, independently verified for 80 PLUS efficiency compliance. Unity power factor is achieved between half-load and full-load. Although tests were performed at a nominal line voltage 115V, efficiency remains above 90% over a wide output power span of 100-400W. It is likely that similar, or improved efficiency can be observed at higher line voltages.

Press photos reveal above-average construction using FR4 PCB substrate, as well as a fully populated input line filter. Presuming FSP implements its tried-and-tested fan control scheme, the 120mm ball-bearing fan should ensure quiet and reliable operation over the useful lifespan of the FSP400-60AGTAA.
