[Finalised] Computex 2011 Round-up: Motherboard, Graphics

Overall look on the Chipset

Intel X79 The next big thing after Z68. Uses a socket 2011 processor, has the unique positioning of the ram slots.
AMD 990FX Support for the upcoming Bulldozer AM3+ processors. 32 PCIe lanes that can be split into x16/x16, x16/x8/x8 or x8/x8/x8/x8.
AMD 990X The 990X is a cut down version of the 990FX with only support for 1×16 or 2×8 PCIe configurations.
AMD 970 The 970FX only supports a single x16 PCIe
AMD A75 The A75 is AMD's newest FCH (Fusion Controller Hub). Unlike the very first A50 FCH, these are designed for use with standard desktop processors using the new Socket FM1. It appears that the A75 will natively support 4 USB 3.0 ports (it has already gained USB-IF certification), in addition to six SATA 6Gbps ports.
